Services & Scheduling

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Saint Albans, WV and serve the surrounding communities — including Charleston, South Charleston, Cross Lanes, Nitro, Dunbar, Hurricane, Teays Valley, Scott Depot, Winfield, and nearby areas. We are licensed to work anywhere in the state of West Virginia (WV ZIP codes 24701–26886).

Do you really offer 24/7 emergency service?

Yes. Our standard office hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM, but for genuine plumbing emergencies — burst pipes, sewage backups, major leaks, no water — call 304-201-1169 any time, day or night, weekends and holidays included.

How does online booking work?

Online booking is a new beta feature. Create a free account in our customer portal, choose a service, and pick an open weekday time slot. We review each request and confirm by email — your appointment isn't final until we confirm it. Appointments are not guaranteed and may be rescheduled by our office — we'll always contact you first if anything changes. You can view or cancel your appointments from your dashboard any time. For same-day or emergency needs, please call instead.

Do you give estimates before starting work?

Yes — we believe in transparent pricing. You'll get an upfront estimate before work begins, with no hidden fees or surprise charges. For most jobs we can give a ballpark over the phone and a firm estimate on site.

Are you licensed and insured?

Fully. We hold West Virginia Contractor License #WV040915 (classifications: General Building, Plumbing, and Specialty) and carry full insurance and bonding for your protection.

What should I have ready when I call?

A quick description of the problem, your address and ZIP code, and the best days/times to reach you. Photos help for estimates on remodels and installations. For emergencies, tell us right away — we'll walk you through immediate steps like shutting off the water.

Plumbing Tips

A pipe just burst — what do I do right now?

1) Shut off your main water valve (usually near the water meter, in the basement, or where the main line enters the house). 2) Open faucets to drain remaining water and relieve pressure. 3) Switch off electricity to affected areas if water is near outlets. 4) Call us at 304-201-1169 — we're available 24/7.

How do I prevent frozen pipes in winter?

Insulate exposed pipes in crawl spaces and exterior walls, disconnect garden hoses before the first freeze, keep cabinet doors under sinks open on cold nights, and let a faucet drip when temperatures plummet. Heading out of town? Keep the heat on at least 55°F. If a pipe does freeze, shut off the main and call us — don't use an open flame to thaw it.

What are signs my water heater is failing?

Watch for: rusty or discolored hot water, rumbling or popping noises, water pooling around the base, inconsistent temperatures, or a unit over 10–12 years old. Catching it early usually means a repair instead of an emergency replacement — and no cold showers.

Why do my drains keep clogging?

Recurring clogs usually mean buildup along the pipe walls, tree-root intrusion, or a bellied line — problems that store-bought drain cleaner can't fix (and chemical cleaners can damage pipes). Our video inspection finds the real cause, and high-pressure jetting cleans the full pipe wall for a long-term fix.

Is a dripping faucet really worth fixing?

One drip per second wastes roughly 3,000 gallons a year — that's on your bill. Drips also accelerate fixture wear and can signal pressure problems. It's one of the quickest, cheapest fixes we do.

Where is my main water shut-off valve?

Most homes here have it where the water line enters the house — basement, crawl space, or utility room — or at the meter near the street. Find it before you need it, and make sure everyone in the house knows where it is. If yours is stuck or corroded, we can replace it.
